Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various joinery techniques and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship. As a Joiner, you will play a vital role in constructing, assembling, and repairing structures and fixtures.

Duties

• Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
• Perform masonry work as required for various projects.
• Conduct painting tasks to finish surfaces and enhance durability.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fittings with precision.
• Ensure that all work is plumb, level, and square to meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site including electricians and roofers.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential.
• Familiarity with masonry techniques is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
• Experience with hand tools specific to joinery tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of electrical installations related to joinery work is beneficial.
• Previous experience in roofing or related construction fields is a plus.
