We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join one of the fastest-growing Powered Access companies in the UK as an Apprentice Engineer and start on the path to a successful and rewarding engineering career.

Salary is based on the National Apprenticeship rate of 6.40 per hour plus benefits (for the first 12 months, after which the rate is dependent on age).

We will provide the successful Apprentice Engineer with a structured programme of training, both within our workshops and externally through F-tec, leading to an industry-recognised Apprenticeship Standard.

Applicants will be required to sit a short maths and English entrance test to qualify for the programme.

What's involved in this Apprentice Engineer role?

• 3-year apprenticeship.
• Working towards Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Lift Truck and Powered Access.
• Valuable practical experience in an industry where qualified engineers are in demand.
• Work with mechanical and electro/hydraulic systems.
• Servicing and maintaining an expanding hire fleet of modern truck-mounted powered access machinery.

To be successful as an Apprentice Engineer, you will need:

• Maths and English GCSEs Grade 4 or above.
• A clear interest and aptitude for practical engineering.
• To demonstrate enthusiasm for the role.
• To be able to work well under pressure and take instruction well.
