Job
The role of Financial Controller will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Enhance and maintain robust financial and IT systems to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.
- Prepare and present P&L and Balance Sheet reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasting in collaboration with management.
- Provide strategic guidance to managers and directors to drive improved business performance.
- Offer insights into costs, cost drivers, and cash management to support commercial decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, update projections, approve payments, and oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Supervise payroll processing and quarterly VAT submissions.
- Identify innovative and commercially viable opportunities to develop a sustainable financial framework.
As a Financial Controller you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Professionally qualified (or Qualified by Experience), with expertise in UK accounting practices.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to positively influence key stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen paired with excellent communication skills.
- A proven leader who embodies values-driven behavior.
- Demonstrates a strategic mindset while effectively managing and motivating the finance team.
