Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a Fixed Wire Test Electrician to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be required to cover customer sites in the Stirling area.

This position also comes with a company vehicle (private use too), fuel card, testing equipment with laptop/PDA, uniform, bonus incentives, and on call rate.

Hours: 40 per week with weekend and overtime available

Salary: £34.6K – £36.3K with earning potential of £51K

Daily Duties –

  • Carry out Inspection and Testing on customer electrical installations (EICR’s) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
  • Complete all relevant inspection and testing reports via certification software
  • Ensure all reports and certification are completed and summited on time.
  • Carrying out LED lighting replacements in and out of hours and in line with the project schedule

Candidate Requirements –

  • 18th Edition qualification
  • City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a electrical discipline
  • AM2 or equivalent (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
