Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with an exciting FMCG business to support in the recruitment of a new Finance Manager opportunity.
My client has experienced significant growth over the last few years and are looking to scale up further by securing a Chartered Accountant to join their organisation and become a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Reporting into the Managing Director, the successful candidate will manage a team of 4 and take ownership of end-end finance.
On offer is the chance to join a brilliant business, support in their growth trajectory and achieving strategic objectives. Candidates with current SME experience who trained in accountancy practice will be at an advantage.
Key Duties
- Producing meaningful monthly Management Accounts to strict reporting deadlines
- Processing journal entries, prepayments and accruals and be capable of reconciling key accounts such as the bank, purchase and sales ledger accounts, intercompany and related party accounts and shop till rolls and receipts
- Preparing analysis-, short-, medium- and long-term forecasting to support strategic business decisions
- Controlling cash and prepare short-term income and expenditure
- Managing a team of 4 direct reports
Candidate
- Chartered Accountant ICAS or ACCA Qualified – Essential
- Currently or prior experience working in a high paced environment
- Ability to take ownership and lead finance
- Strong excel, working knowledge of SAGE and end-end finance experience
