Role Overview:In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial management of the organisation and contribute to the wellbeing of the office staff. You will report directly to the Managing Director and Operations Director, collaborating closely with a dedicated team of Administrators and the Engineering/Manufacturing teams.Benefits -

Financial duties -
* Processing and checking company accounts.* Overseeing control of debtors and creditors. * Month end management accounts.* Assisting the Operations Director with preparing financial reports, forecasting and budgeting.* Uploading data to the online group company platform * Handling pension contributions and other associated administration * Authorising and making payments * Manage monthly payroll using Sage Payroll and handle pension contributions and related administration.* Engage with banks for necessary transactions and authorisations.* Ensure timely compliance with VAT deadlines.Other duties -
* Taking responsibility for the commercial and fleet insurance * Serve as the main point of contact for HR issues, liaising with a third-party HR assistance organisation.Skills & Competencies * Sage Payroll (desirable)* Sage 50 accounts (desirable)* Advanced excel and confidence creating reports using Excel* Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail and accuracy.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to work independently and flexibly, using initiative while maintaining confidentiality.* Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.* Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.* Customer-focused with strong commercial awareness.* Team-oriented with a commitment to company values and goals.If you are a finance professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic engineering/manufacturing organisation, we encourage you to apply.
