Your new companyOur client is a well-established company looking for a Handyperson/Maintenance Operative to join their team. This role will be based acrossvarious sites, carrying out a range of general building repairs and maintenancetasks.Your new roleAs a Maintenance Operative you will be responsiblefor:* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance acrossvarious sites.* Completing general building tasks, includingjoinery, tiling, painting, brickwork, paving, drainage, and plumbing.* Assisting with facilities support, such as furnitureassembly, site clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy.* Responding to out-of-hours alarm activations whenrequired.* Ensuring all work follows health and safetypolicies, identifying hazards, and conducting risk assessments.* Working independently or as part of a team tocomplete tasks efficiently.* Recording all work completed in the internal PMRsystem.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need:* A broad range of maintenance and repair skills.* The ability to work indoor and outdoor in varyingconditions.* Basic IT skills (training on in-house systems willbe provided).* Flexibility and the ability to adapt to differenttasks.* Strong teamworking and communication skills.* A full UK driving licence.What you'll get in return* A competitive salary and benefits package.* Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm Friday 7am-3.30pm* A varied and hands-on role with opportunities fordevelopment.* A supportive and friendly working environment.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
