My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to join near Stirling. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

The company is well established, financial stable and have earned a reputation as an excellent employer.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and evaluate machine and labour resources to ensure continuous productivity and minimal downtime
  • Planning and organising production schedules
  • Distribute manpower effectively
  • Ensure production is cost effective, ran as efficiently as possible and minimise overtime spend
  • Ensure that Team Leaders are fulfilling the Roles and Responsibilities expected of them
  • Overseeing the production process, ensuring adherence to required process and quality controls
  • Reviewing departments performance against Action Plans and KPI's
  • Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
  • Ensure the shop floor is kept up to date on factory performance and news relevant to the business

Experience required:

  • 5+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing management role
  • Sound knowledge, understanding and examples of implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methods
  • Implement a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking out opportunities to do things better
  • Excellent project management skills
  • The ability to lead, motivate and influence large multi-functional teams
  • Successful track record of training employees in productivity and safety
  • Successful implementation of an effective succession planning program
