Pertemps is recruiting multi-drop Parcel Delivery Drivers for Royal Mail in Stirling, with an immediate start and an initial contract length of 8 weeks.
The pay rate for this position is £13.37 per hour, and candidates may be required to work overtime or on weekends.
Applicants should have a valid UK driving license (preferably clean) and previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Key responsibilities include sorting and collecting parcels, capturing customer signatures, and delivering while walking at least 8 miles a day with a load of up to 20kg.
Candidates must be able to pass a disclosure check and are expected to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.
You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.
The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg.
Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a trolley during deliveries.

Key Skills:

Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points. (a clean license is preferred)
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
Working outdoors in all weathers is required
