They are looking for an immediate start to join the team on an initial temporary basis with a strong chance of the role becoming permanent. Job
The role of Finance Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Delivering an efficient and responsive purchase ledger and payments service
- Maintaining accurate financial records and processing invoices and payments
- Liaising with suppliers and managing queries effectively
- Supporting the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
- Contributing to month and year-end financial reporting and audit preparations
You
As a Finance Assistant, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Collaborative work ethic, aligned with our values of Compassion, Contribution, and Change-making
- Customer-focused approach with a passion for meeting stakeholders' needs
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel, with a keenness to learn and adapt
- Experience in finance or a related field, with not-for-profit sector experience being a bonus
- Recognised accounting qualification is desirable but not essential
