Interim Management Accountant Role

- Salary £45,000 - £55,000
- 9 month fixed term contract
About Us: Hays are working with a large food manufacturing company based in East Cornwall, dedicated to being a long-term force for good.What You'll Do: As a Management Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in our team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts and business KPI reporting.
- Generating weekly profit and loss reports, monthly reconciliations, and management information to meet deadlines.
- Preparing daily and weekly materials and labour variance reports.
- Supporting annual budget preparation and forecasting.
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the standard costing system.
What You Will Need: We believe there's a right role for everyone and aim to set you up for success. For the Management Accountant role, we are looking for the following key skills and experience:
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing business.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft software.
- Strong written reporting skills with experience in data analysis.
Contract Details:
- Type: Fixed-term contract for 9 months.
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
- Start Date: February 2025.
