Salary: £49,000 + Profit Related Pay Bonuses

Location: Callington

Shift: Week 1 (Thursday to Sunday) // Week 2 (Friday to Sunday)

Hours: Days (6am – 6:45pm)

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role as a maintenance engineer, you’ll be working on a variety of modern equipment, tackling both electrical and mechanical challenges. Your day-to-day will include:

Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults – working with sensors, motors, relays, and e-stops.
Mechanical maintenance and repairs – handling belts, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Preventative maintenance – ensuring production keeps running smoothly.
Basic PLC fault finding – identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
Reacting to breakdowns – problem-solving under pressure to minimize downtime.

 

What We’re Looking For

To succeed as a maintenance engineer in this role, you should have:

  • A Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC, or HND) in engineering.
  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
