Butler Rose are currently supporting a Callington based food manufacturer who have a current requirement for a Demand Planner.

This is a shift role working Friday to Monday 6.30am - 4.30pm. Salary is £32,000

Overview

Responsible for demand planning including creating and maintaining forecasts. Liaising with Commercial and retailers for general demand and promotional plans and performance. Managing capacity and supporting MRP and Production planning teams.

Duties

  • Compile forecasts, input all promotional activity and sales updates
  • Responsible for forecast accuracy, over multiple time horizons
  • Compile and communicate short and long term capacity plans
  • Seasonal planning/coordination
  • Balance capacity
  • Promotion and NPD coordination and evaluation
  • Communicate and potentially meet with retailers to discuss demand, processes and improvement opportunities
  • Develop demand forecasts
  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning Tools as the primary forecasting system
  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with the Production Planning team
  • Provide estimates and capacity plans to the Production Planning team

  • Knowledge of constraint planning and scheduling
  • Previous Planning or Scheduling Experience
  • Data and statistical analysis
  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills
