As their new Assistant Accountant/ Bookkeeper you will need to be detail-oriented, methodical, proactive and organised to support the efficient running of their finance department and your position offers the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team in an evolving company.
Your key responsibilities will include:• Preparing invoices for clients and communicating statutory notices • Payment reconciliations• Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining their financial systems • Preparing VAT returns and financial reports• Assisting the Managing Director with financial and administrative tasks
Who we are looking for:• Experience of being a Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant or as a Finance Administrator ready to step up would be ideal• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse range of tasks• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Drive and similar tools• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under pressure• Comfortable working both independently and within a team• Ability to think creatively and approach challenges from different angles
In return you will be financially rewarded with a salary up to ÂŁ30,000 p/a, company pension, private medical insurance and a flexible working schedule.
