Miles Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled CAD Designer/ Technician to join a growing team of designers for a busy client with opportunities throughout the UK.

As a CAD Designer/ Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans. You will be contributing to the design and development of several projects. Key duties include:

- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, models, and plans based on project specifications and requirements.- Maintain and organise project documentation.- Review drawings and designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination as required.- Assist with the enquiries from customers.

To excel as a CAD Designer/ Technician will have a strong understanding of design principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional skills and attributes include:

- Previous relevant experience.- IT skills - in particular MS Office, Outlook- Proficiency in CAD software.- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, as well as independently when required.- Strong timekeeping skills and the ability to make deadlines.- A good level of secondary education, including Maths and English.

Key information:

Salary: Up to £30,000 p/a DOE

Hours: Mon-Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 Fri - 08.00 - 16.00
