Miles Recruitment have a great opportunity for you to join our long lasting client as a Trainee CAD Technician, where you will develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in the world of Computer-Aided Design (CAD). This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to exciting projects.

Within this role as a Trainee CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and engineering teams. You will work on a variety of projects, helping to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.

Main duties include:

- Engage in hands-on training and mentorship to build your CAD skills and knowledge of industry standards.- Create and refine 2D and 3D CAD drawings.- Collaborate with engineers and designers on projects, contributing to the design and development process.- Review and adjust your work to meet project specifications.- Gain proficiency in industry-standard CAD software.- Manage and organize CAD files and related documentation efficiently.

It is desired that you have relevant experience for this role, however not crucial. If you can provide evidence that you have other skills relevant to the role and will provide a strong working hand during your training, this role is perfect for you.

About you:

Starting salary is in the region of £24,000 progressing as you learn in the role.
