Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant - SN11

Are you passionate about supporting children in their academic and personal growth? My client is looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful Teaching Assistant to play a vital role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. You'll be instrumental in helping children reach their full potential, both inside and outside the classroom, while working within a collaborative and caring school community. This role would be working from Monday to Friday with a working pattern of 8:30-12 each day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting students with a range of learning needs, including social and communication challenges.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Encouraging positive behavior and fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Supervising children during lessons and break times to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Supporting literacy, numeracy, and ICT tasks to enhance learning opportunities.
  • Helping with individual and group activities to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and external professionals to support student development.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.

  • Skilled in managing behavior and promoting positive interactions.
  • Adaptable, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with children with a range of learning abilities, including SEN and high-achieving pupils.
