Job hours : Full time and Part time ( permanent )

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Carer to join our dedicated team.

In this role, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, support junior staff, and ensure

the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with their personal care needs.

• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.

• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GP’s District Nurses,Chiropodist etc.

• Assist in the care of residents who are unwell or dying.

• Help to control the issue of drugs for which the Home has taken responsibility, to maintain the

necessary records and to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the systems for administering

medication.

• Help to ensure that the preparation, cooking and serving of food meet the required standards.

Help to ensure that rooms and common spaces are properly cleaned, maintained and adaquately heated

• Lead, facilitate and participate in staff meetings, staff training, supervision, appraisal and developmental activities

• Carry out supervision and induction of designated staff as required.

Requirements :

-Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 3 or above)

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care

- Reliable and flexible, with a commitment to high-quality care

- Right to work in the UK should be eligible for full time ( please note that visa sponsorship will not be provided )
