M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager with a strong sales background to join our client's dynamic team, specialising in Food & Drink products, supplying businesses globally.
Salary: 26,000 - 28,000
As a Account Manager, you will play a key role in building relationships with our valued customers, driving sales, and contributing to the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent service and tailored product recommendations.
- Manage buying and liaising with suppliers to purchase goods for export.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Sort, pack, and prepare goods according to customer specifications.
- Raise invoices and packing lists for shipments.
- Complete Health Certification for specific food groups (training provided).
- Collaborate with team members to meet dispatch targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Organise freight for consignments.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in sales and prospecting.
- Ability to build lasting relationships and achieve sales targets.
- Strong organisational skills to manage paperwork, stock, and dispatch processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Marketing experience is a bonus.
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not essential.
