We are looking for self-sufficient and motivated individual to join a company with over 40 years’ experience in the specialist design, development, and production of machinery.

Design Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hydraulic systems and lifting equipment
  • Design components using Autodesk Inventor, performing engineering calculations to ensure that designs meet standards
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications and technical files for UKCA marking
  • Be responsible for prototype testing and analysis, feeding back performance and adjustments
  • Provide hands-on support during the manufacturing and assembly processes

The ideal Design Engineer will:

  • Have experience of designing hydraulic systems
  • Be skilled in CAD software especially Autodesk Inventor
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or similar
  • Have design experience preferably in the agricultural or mechanical machinery industries
  • Strong engineering calculation skills and understanding of hydraulic principles
  • Experience using or creating technical files for UKCA / CE marking requirements and solid understanding of compliance requirements
  • Hands-on experience in machinery assembly or maintenance (beneficial)

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 / Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
