Role Overview:

• Role: Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher - Resource Base
• Location: Calne
• Start Date: 24th February 2025
• Contract: Full-time, temporary until Easter 2025 (potential for extension)
• Class Details: Maximum of 8 pupils with ASD and SEMH needs, supported by a teaching assistant
• Salary: Paid to scale
   

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to undergo the process)
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (for overseas candidates, ENIC recognition and right to work are required)
• Be a reflective, empathetic, and engaging practitioner, passionate about making a real impact on pupils' lives
• Have high expectations for every pupil, with confidence in using effective classroom management strategies
• Build strong rapport with students, staff, and the wider school community
