We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school that look after students with ASD from ages 6-16 and they are looking for a full-time Maths teacher to start ideally as soon possible. They are based on beautiful grounds and have gone from strength to strength over the last few years, growing in size consistently.
The school are incredibly proud of the support they provide ASD students across the school, providing individualised support across the age groups.
The role
The school are looking for someone to lead Maths classes in the secondary part of the school, so leading GCSE Maths classes is an important part of the role.
You will be ably supported by full-time TA's and provided adequate PPA time throughout the week to plan and mark your lessons. You must have experience working with ASD students and would preferably hold a QTS (though they are open to applications from strong unqualified Maths teachers).
