Are you a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician or similar with and NVQ3 or similar and want to become a Armoured Vehicle Mechanical Trainer to the Armed Forces?

Do you want to work on some of the most exciting MoD and Defence projects and play your part in the global security crisis?

On offer is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a multi-billion-pound global engineering and defence company who have an industry reputation for providing one of the top training and progression programs & often works on several large-scale projects around the UK. This is a unique opportunity where you will be funded for qualifications to improve your career, have the option to progress to supervisor / assessor roles.

In this role, the successful Vehicle Mechanic/Technician will be involved in teaching Apprenticeship Course on a range of subjects such as servicing, repairing, diagnosing & maintaining vehicles, and working on their variety of hydraulics & electrical equipment.

The ideal Vehicle Mechanic/Technician Trainer would have an NVQ3 or above and looking for a role in a well-established company where you will take on to work on some of the UK's most secret defence projects with the options of earning extra & lots of training + progression.

THE ROLE:

  • Support, motivate and coach all learners, ensuring all components of the programme are completed in a timely manner whilst meeting awarding organisation, ESFA and Ofsted requirements
  • Monitor and review learners inline with the customers expectations
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed to the correct standard and within agreed timelines
  • Provide portfolio building advice and guidance to learners based on the requirements of their programme
  • Effectively record, plan and track individual learner progress in accordance with agreed paperwork and reporting processes.

THE PERSON:

  • Aspiring Vehicle Mechanic/Technician Teacher/Trainer
  • NVQ Level 3 or similar Qualification or time served
