Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Calne area who are actively looking to recruit a Welder Fabricator/CNC Machinist to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- MIG and TIG welding, ensuring that products are accurately manufactured in an effective and timely manner
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accurately to tight tolerances
- Programme, set and operate CNC as well as Manual Lathes and Mills
- Operating a range of other machinery and hand tools
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous MIG / TIG welding experience essential as is programming, setting and operating CNC and manual lathes and mills
- Ability to use electrical and manual tools and folding equipment
- Experience in interpreting technical documents and drawings
- Well-organised approach and eye for detail
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with excellent communication skills
- NVQ Level 3 or time served
