Our client are looking for an experienced/ time served multi-skilled engineer, someone who has experienced as a Welder Fabricator and Machinist. They are a well-established independent company which provide specialist machinery to the agricultural and construction industries!

Welder Fabricator and Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Weld to a BS EN 9606-1, BS EN 9606-2 standard using MIG, and TIG
  • Set and operate lathes and Mills
  • Work from engineering drawings to create components to tight tolerances, completing in process and final inspection of machined/ welded parts
  • Operate a range of hand, power and workshop tools including but not limited to: Press Brakes, Saws, Drills and Grinders
  • Inspecting own work and others to technical documents

The ideal Welder Fabricator and Machinist will:

  • Be able to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Be experienced in welding processes and procedures MIG
  • Be able to use electrical or manual hand and power tools
  • NVQ Level 3 or be a time served engineer
  • Current or previous professional certification (e.g. BS EN 9606-11 BS EN 9606) (Desirable)
  • Have worked within a Quality Management System (Desirable)
  • Forklift Licence (Desirable)
