We are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator the role involves welding, machining, and operating various equipment and tools to meet production requirements while ensuring high standards of quality.

Specific Duties:
Interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications to produce parts with tight tolerances.
Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and MMA processes to BS EN 9606-1 and BS EN 9606-2 standards, in various positions.
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills, along with manual machines.
Monitor machine operations and conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Use equipment such as press brakes, saws, drills, and grinders to support production.
Operate hand tools and overhead cranes for transporting materials and components.
Ensure all equipment and the work area are maintained in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Experience:

Proficient in various welding techniques (TIG, MMA, etc.).
Experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC and manual lathes and mills.
Familiar with using electrical/manual tools and folding equipment.
Strong ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Able to inspect and maintain work quality with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets.
NVQ Level 3 or time-served qualification in a relevant field.

Desirable:

Certification in BS EN 9606-11 or BS EN 9606.
Forklift certification.
Experience within a Quality Management System and awareness of environmental impacts.
Team-oriented, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Flexible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Full-time Monday to Friday
