You will be joining a well-established, successful company who are leaders in their industry. You will be working alongside the Head of HR and be responsible for advising and supporting employment processes from end to end including recruitment, on- boarding, engagement, training and development, appraisals, and terminations.
HR Advisor Expectations:
- Ability to manage HR day-to-day transactions accurately and effectively including updating MyHR.
- Take ownership of HR policies, conducting annual reviews and ensuring legislation updates are captured.
- Proactively identify performance issues with line managers and recommending a best practice approach, providing appropriate support.
- Provide HR advice, information and coaching on personal development plans, succession planning, identifying skills gaps and supporting training needs.
- Play an active role in employee engagement initiatives, promoting Company values embedding them into the organisational culture.
- Promote HR best practices looking at ways to adopt and implement progressive changes.
- Supporting and coaching managers on HR issues ensuring compliance to policies, procedures, and Employment Law.
- Creating, reviewing, and updating contracts of employment, job descriptions, personnel specifications etc.
- To prepare and issue written correspondence in relation to disciplinary and grievance cases and be active in dealing with process stages where and when required.
- Advising and supporting managers on recruitment, selection processes, informal and formal team development including appraisals.
- Coordinate and support the talent pipeline Academy programme.
- Ensuring employees are onboarded and offboarded positively and effectively.
- Monitoring and reporting HR metrics including turnover and retention rates.
