Baler Operative

Active Personnel are currently recruiting a Baler Operative to work for our client, a leading waste management company, based in Calverton. This role is night shift-based and involves operating baling machinery to compact recyclable materials efficiently.

• 12.25 per hour

The Role

As a Baler Operative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Operating baling machinery to compress and bundle recyclable materials.

• Ensuring materials are processed and stored correctly.

• Conducting routine checks and maintenance on baling equipment.

• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Assisting with general duties in the recycling and waste management process as required.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in an industrial, warehouse, or waste management environment (preferred).

• The ability to work effectively on night shifts.

• A strong awareness of health and safety procedures in an industrial setting.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

• A proactive and reliable approach to work.

• The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Hours

Night Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday.
