Active Personnel are currently recruiting a Wire Cutter to work for our client, a leading waste management company, based in Calverton. This role is night shift-based and involves cutting wire off waste materials to support the recycling process.

The Role

As a Wire Cutter, your key responsibilities will include:

• Safely cutting wire from waste materials using hand tools.
• Sorting and disposing of wire and other materials into designated areas for recycling.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and within the required timeframes.
• Assisting with other general duties in the waste management process as required.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in a manual or physically demanding role (preferred).
• The ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices in an industrial setting.
• A positive attitude and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Hours

• Night Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday.
