You will be joining an established organisation that has a great market reputation and continues to expand in multiple areas. This role will be office based and around 25 hours a week, with flexibility in how these hours are worked. Part Time Group Reporting Accountant - About The Role
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 8 and will be reporting into the Head of Finance. You will be required to work with various departments and report on various finance data to the Head of Finance and senior management.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, year-end and audit packs
- Supporting with the daily running of the finance function and ensuring it is running at full efficiency
- Working with multiple sites and liaising with non-finance professionals regarding their finances
- Producing reports for the senior management team and providing full commentary
- Preparation of weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring necessary checks have been completed
- Regular review of outstanding debtors and credit control processes to ensure receipt of funds due
- Complete weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure that any errors are highlighted promptly and resolved appropriately
- Identify sales and margin trends and opportunities
- Support budget holders by responding to queries and by providing relevant information
- Assisting the Head of Finance with year-end routines
- Supporting within other areas of the finance function when required
The successful Part Time Group Reporting Accountant will have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Experience with a multi-site business would be advantageous
- QBE or qualified candidates will be considered
- Strong communication skills
