This professional organisation is seeking a fully qualified Financial Accountant to join them on an initial 15 month fixedterm contract. This is a full time position working on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office and 2 from home) .
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of the year end Statutory Accounts, with responsibility for managing the audit process with the external Auditors.
- Responsibility for the HMRC / Customs matters of the business, including VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE.
- Preparation of Quarterly Consolidated Accounts.
- Responsible for the management of the Treasury processes, including relevant reporting and forecasting.
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts, with particular responsibility for the accounting of accruals and prepayments.
- Support the Financial Controller in the management and development of internal controls and processes.
- Assist with the preparation of the Annual Plan.
- Assistance & liaison with Accounts Payable position.
- Ad-hoc duties, including departmental cover during holidays and absences as required.
- Comply with with company regulations, policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as reasonably required by the Finance Director and business.
Key relationships
- The role holder reports to the Financial Controller.
- The role holder will work in close partnership with the other members of the Finance Team.
- The role holder will work closely with the Group Finance function
