Contracts Engineer required for a pump specialist based in Camberley. The primary objective of this role is to support the smooth operation of our Contracts Department while ensuring our customers' needs are met. The Contracts Engineer will play a key role in managing the procurement, installation, and commissioning of new and existing sewage and surface water pumping station equipment.



Contracts Engineer - Pumps Job Overview

  • Managing and overseeing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with all relevant terms and conditions.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to facilitate the procurement of parts and materials in line with the pre-determined program of works.
  • Monitoring project costs, timelines, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Assist in coordinating installations and commissioning of pumping station equipment to meet customer requirements.


Contracts Engineer - Pumps Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the pump station, construction, or civil engineering industry (though this is not essential).
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and project coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail.


Contracts Engineer - Pumps Salary & Benefits

£35K to £40K, depending on experience.

Benefits include:

  • Pension: Upon successful completion of the 6-month probationary period, you will be auto-enrolled into the Company pension scheme (if eligible). Full details of the scheme will be provided at that time.
  • Holiday: 25 days of annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays.

The working hours are 39 hours per week:

  • Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00, with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Friday: 08:30 - 16:00, with a 30-minute lunch break
