Shorterm Group is partnered with a commercial vehicle business to find an Auto Electrician based in Aldershot with experience working alongside HV / BEV technologies. We're looking for somebody with a grasp of reading/understanding electrical drawings as well as reading, recording, updating circuit diagrams.
To be successful, you should be an Auto Electrician with demonstrable ability working with instrumentation/data logging equipment (Analogue and CAN systems) in addition to a proven track record of working on high and low voltage systems on BEVs and/or PHEVs. A background in heavy/commercial vehicles/machinery would also be a plus.
You'll be carrying out fault finding/rectification work on all electrical systems/ CAN harnesses, using diagnostic software tools for engines, gearboxes, CAN and vehicle systems and building/modifying harnesses from drawings (24V, High Voltage and CAN).
