Position Overview:We are looking for a CNC Turnerwho is proficient in programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Fanuc controls. They will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production and meeting strict deadlines.

Working Hours:The standard working week for this position is 40 hours, with flexibility built into the schedule to accommodate varying production demands and personal preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathesto produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Select and install cutting tools, adjust tool offsets, and make necessary machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Interpret and modify CNC programs as needed to optimize machining processes and minimize cycle times.
  • Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations and prevent downtime.
  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turnerwith proficiency in programming, setting, and operating lathes.
  • Proficiency with Fanucis required.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
