My client is a leading renewable energy business focused on B2B solutions such as solar, battery storage and EV Charging infrastructure. Due to growth they are seeking an SDR to join the team to bring in leads and meetings for the sales team to convert.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), this role will be the first point of contact for potential clients. Your primary task is to generate and qualify new leads, before passing over to the sales team to close the deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, industry events, and networking.
- Outbound Outreach: Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and social media to initiate conversations and nurture relationships.
- Qualify Leads: Evaluate potential clients to determine their needs, budget, and decision-making process, ensuring they are a good fit for our solutions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the sales team to pass qualified leads and provide detailed information to facilitate the sales process.
- Maintain CRM: Accurately record and manage lead information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Experience:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent phone and email etiquette.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive and resilient attitude.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is an advantage.
