Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of young learners.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the EYFS framework, fostering children's social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, identifying areas of growth and areas that may require additional support.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular feedback on children's development and achievements.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a well-rounded and supportive educational experience.
  • Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant EYFS teaching experience.
  • Strong passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in engaging with young children and their families.
  • Creative and innovative teaching methods that inspire curiosity and exploration.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with young learners.

  • A valid DBS certificate is required.
