This market-leading, SME business based in Frimley is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their business on a part time basis. You will be joining an established organisation that has a great market reputation and continues to expand in multiple areas. This role will be office based and around 25 hours a week, with flexibility in how these hours are worked. This opportunity would suit an experienced individual who has prior experience in an SME and is looking for a new challenge.

Part Time Finance Manager - About The Role

  • Supporting with the preparation of management accounts, up to trial balance
  • Supporting with the daily running of the finance function and ensuring it is running at full efficiency
  • Working with multiple sites and liaising with non-finance professionals regarding their finances
  • Producing reports for the senior management team and providing full commentary
  • Preparation of weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring necessary checks have been completed
  • Regular review of outstanding debtors and credit control processes to ensure receipt of funds due.
  • Complete weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure that any errors are highlighted promptly and resolved appropriately
  • Assist with the annual budget preparation
  • Support budget holders by responding to queries and by providing relevant information
  • Assisting the Head of Finance with year-end routines
  • Supporting within other areas of the finance function when required

The successful Part Time Finance Manager will have/be:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience with a multi-site business would be advantageous
  • QBE or qualified candidates will be considered
  • Strong communication skills
