Job Title: Estimator/Senior Estimator
Location:Surrey office location plus flexible working / hybrid working
Salary: 70,000 - 90,000 (Based on experience)

Overview:
4Site Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator/Senior Estimator to join a dynamic and fast-paced Tier 1 fit-out contractor. Thecompany specialises in high-quality fit-out projects ranging from 2 million to 30 million, you will play a critical role in estimating project costs and ensuring accurate and competitive bids. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a can-do attitude who is eager to grow and contribute to a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed estimates for fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
Collaborate closely with the bidding team to compile high-quality bid submissions.
Engage with clients and manage client relationships throughout the tender process.
Analyse tender documents, specifications and drawings to provide accurate pricing.
Identify and evaluate risk factors, ensuring all potential risks are priced accordingly.
Assist in value engineering efforts and explore cost-saving options without compromising quality.
Maintain strong communication with subcontractors and suppliers for the procurement of quotes and materials.
Ensure that all estimates are in line with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Participate in post-tender negotiations and secure successful bids.
Work closely with the project delivery teams to ensure cost control and project success.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in estimating traditional fit-out projects, ideally within the 2m-30m range.
Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methods, materialsand market trends.
Experience working in a similar role within a 1 fit-out contractor environment.
Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
A proactive approach with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
