Located in the heart of Guildford, is a vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing an exceptional learning environment for our students. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who may need additional assistance.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students.
  • Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Support the class teacher in maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring a safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other teaching assistants and school staff to promote a cohesive and supportive educational experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience working with primary school-aged children is preferred.
  • A strong passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to various learning needs.
  • A valid DBS certificate is required.
  • Any additional qualifications in education or relevant training would be advantageous.
