Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Camberley (Static)
Salary: Up to £42k per annum
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias for one of our valued clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in facilities maintenance, looking to take on a new challenge. If you have a keen eye for detail, are well-versed in electrical systems, and have experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as Legionella testing and fire alarm inspections, this could be the perfect role for you.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Perform scheduled testing and inspections, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and other safety systems.
- Carry out Legionella testing and ensure compliance with water hygiene standards.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for specialized maintenance work when required.
- Handle general facilities maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and lighting.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and Legionella control.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
