About Us: We are a leading data centre in Camberley, dedicated to maintaining top-tier operational excellence and reliability. Our state-of-the-art facility demands a highly skilled engineering team to ensure seamless performance and up time. We are currently seeking a dedicated Continental Shift Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and other critical infrastructure within the data centre.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure all equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to implement and improve maintenance procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support project work as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of our data centre operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Shift Engineer, preferably within a data centre or a critical infrastructure environment.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with generators, UPS systems, and associated electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
