They have built a reputation as one of the market leaders within the ground engineering sectors, having been involved in some of the most iconic and prestigious projects in the UK. Their portfolio ranges from major construction schemes through to complex civil engineering projects that will include Crossrail and Thames Tideway.
They have a role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor within their ground engineering / piling division. The works are mainly valued between £2 50m, with projects scattered around Greater London and the Home Counties. Dependent on the size of the contract, your role will be to oversee a scheme or a portfolio of contracts as well as supporting the divisional Commercial Manager in running the commercial elements of the department to ensure schemes achieve their financial / commercial targets. There is a strong likelihood that the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be moved onto an interesting and challenging £25m sub-contract scheme. You will work very closely with the contracts and project managers to gain contractual entitlement, cash flow, managing risk and ensuring the projects are reported and forecasted correctly.
