This reputable organisation based in Camberley has an exciting opportunity for a Secretary to join their team.

The secretary will play a key role in providing customers and staff members with secretarial and general administration support.

This is an office based, full time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.

Secretary responsibilities:

  • Document Management of drawings and reports
  • Assisting in the production of Plot Packs
  • Assisting the team in production and monitoring of consultant appointment documentation
  • Logging invoices/professional fees forms and distributing for signatures
  • Typing of correspondence, schedules and reports, to include photocopying, scanning and emailing as required
  • Managing departmental diaries, with close liaison internally and externally to arrange appointments
  • Provide cover for Reception as per rota and during times of absence (annual leave, sickness)
  • General administrative duties, to include, managing & maintaining training records, collation of post incoming & outgoing, reporting of holidays/sickness, consultant appointments, legal correspondence & cheque/CHAPS requests
  • Handling telephone enquiries and managing the email inbox
  • Taking & issuing of minutes for meetings

Secretary skills and experience:

  • Experienced administrator with proven track record supporting a large team
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent administration skills, with faultless attention to detail
  • Well-developed organisational skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as within a team
  • Self-motivated, takes responsibility for self-development and actively seeks ways to improve own performance
  • Able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
  • Professional telephone manner and communication skills, at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills to include all Microsoft Office programmes, Outlook and the internet
