This logistics organisation are a specialist in cold storage which support a wide range of food producers globally, they are currently looking for the support of an Accountant on an interim contract for 6 months, there may also be the scope for the contract to extend or even a permanent role to be offered. Working alongside the Financial Controller and the FP&A Manager the main duties of this role are as follows - - Month end reporting - Preparation of output materials for monthly board reports- Supporting the FP&A Manager with the quarterly forecast process- Cash flow forecasting updates- Supporting the FC with the implementation of wider group controls - Supporting with capex accounting and producing forecast updates for Capex spend. You will have a strong financial accounting background and may have worked previously in practice or audit. Attention to detail and accuracy is key in this role. The head office is based in London and you will be required to travel to London a maximum of 1 day a week, the remaining 4 days will be worked remotely.
