For over 30 years, this award-winning organisation have worked tirelessly to build a recognised Global brand, that now employs over 5000 people worldwide.A rare opportunity to join this small, close knit UK finance team has arisen due to a period of maternity leave within the team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for the management of key asset balances for the UK Group and the reporting process.Duties will include

  • Take responsibility for asset and income aspects for UK financial audit
  • Preparation of monthly statements and invoices
  • Maintaining financial records
  • Analysing and reporting financial variances against budgets
  • Ensuring all property lease costs are being accurately captured and recovered
  • Liase with project management teams and provide support/advice with regards to financial budgets
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Provide support to Management Accountant

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Part qualified or near to completing your professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with industry experience or moving from practice
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables
  • Strong communication skills
  • "Can-do" attitude
  • Ability to prioritise and manage individual workload and work unsupervised
  • Excellent attention to detail

The role is predominately office based within their central Cambridge office and will be on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
