Audit Director Job Vacancy

We're searching for a talented rising star in the world of audit who can offer a fresh approach, an enhanced level of technical skill and great leadership potential to this independent firm of accountants as an Audit Director in Cambridge.

You'll be ACCA or ACA qualified and have RI status or be open to achieving it very soon. You'll have experience of managing a close knit junior team and you'll be able to offer both a strategic and an operational approach to retaining and growing an exciting audit portfolio across a wide variety of business sectors.

You will have experience overseeing high level workflow, resourcing, pitching, budgeting, negotiating and you'll certainly be a first-class communicator.

  • Overseeing the audit department, leading an experienced team, and ensuring the highest standard of service is provided to a varied client portfolio.
  • Using a commercial mindset to strategically drive the firm’s offering, nurturing a network of prospective clients.
  • Pitching for new business.
  • Strategic insight.
  • Internal and external reviews.
  • Budgeting, negotiating.
  • Supporting the Partnership team in the delivery of excellence across the whole firm.
  • Building trusted and long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Confidently representing the firm at networking opportunities.
  • Training audit staff, providing constructive and supportive mentorship.
  • Set an example for the team as a natural leader.
  • Any other project work, as deemed necessary
