Pure are supporting a local practice with the recruitment of an Audit & Accounts Manager, this is a unique opportunity that can offer career progression to Director for the right individual. You will manage a portfolio of clients ranging from businesses to individuals providing high quality accounting services, alongside this you will take on audit management responsibilities overseeing audit engagements and ensuring compliance with regulations.

This role will have management responsibility for 4 members of staff which will include supporting the professional development of the junior team members.

The key responsibilities are as follows -

- Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts and personal and corporate tax returns
- Plan and oversee statutory audits for a range of clients
- Review and finalise audit files
- Liaise with clients to resolve audit queries efficiently and maintain strong relationships
- Provide technical guidance on complex audit issues to team.

You must have previous audit experience and be ACA or ACCA qualified, the right person must have line management experience and strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting standards and tax compliance.
