Financial Accountant, North Cambridge

Red Finance Cambridge are delighted to be working with a leading biotechnology company as they recruit a Financial Accountant. This role is crucial in supporting the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and management information across the business.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct year-end and month-end accounting and reporting.
• Manage statutory reporting and adhere to IFRS accounting standards.
• Drive the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.
• Develop and report on business KPIs.
• Utilise reporting tools to provide insightful business analysis.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed within the scope of the role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Accounting qualification – part or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on accounting applications.
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
