Financial Accountant, North Cambridge
Red Finance Cambridge are delighted to be working with a leading biotechnology company as they recruit a Financial Accountant. This role is crucial in supporting the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and management information across the business.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct year-end and month-end accounting and reporting.
- Manage statutory reporting and adhere to IFRS accounting standards.
- Drive the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.
- Develop and report on business KPIs.
- Utilise reporting tools to provide insightful business analysis.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed within the scope of the role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Accounting qualification – part or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on accounting applications.
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
