This manufacturing organisation that have been established in their market since 1920 with a current turnover of 7 million are currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller to lead the finance function for site based on the outskirts of Cambridge.

This role will report into the Managing Director at the site in Cambridge but will have secondary support from the Group Finance Director, you will manage a team of 3 and will take on the following duties -

- Monthly and weekly financial performance reporting to the senior management team
- Running the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Supporting and running any ERP system improvements
- Cashflow forecasting
- Inventory management and working closely with the Head of Supply chain on stock levels
- Alongside the Management Accountant manage the execution of monthly payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Lead the annual financial statement audit and statutory accounts preparation process.
- Alongside the external advisers manage the preparation of corporation tax and R&D tax credit returns.

You will ideally have previous exposure to a manufacturing environment and be CIMA qualified however qualified by experience will also be considered. You must have proven experience in the above tasks and be comfortable working closely with non finance stakeholders.
